Account Access Information
- Alumni
- Alumni wishing to access CLERQS or the VLFP may need to request activation of their Law Account.
If you have recently used either system, your account may already be active. If you are in doubt as to whether or not your Law Account is active, please see the directions below.
- To check if you have an active Law Account, please click “Continue to Login” on CLERQS or the VLFP.
Your username is computingID@lawschool.virginia.edu (where computingID is your UVA computingID).
If your account has NOT been activated, your username will not be recognized and you will receive an error message that says something like "This username may be incorrect".
- If you need to activate your account, choose “Request Account Activation” in CLERQS or the VLFP, and walk through the steps. Activation may take 1 business day.
- Troubleshooting:
- If you need to activate and/or change the password of your Alumni account, you will need access to your UVA email account
(or whatever account you have forwarded computingID@virginia.edu to). For problems accessing or forwarding your UVA email account,
contact the UVA ITS help desk (https://in.virginia.edu/helpdesk) or see
ITS Alumni Forwarding.
- You may need to reset your password and multi-factor authentication. If needed, choose "forgot my password" and follow the steps provided.
- Current Students/Faculty/Staff
- Click the “Continue to Login” button below
- When logging in, your username is computingID@lawschool.virginia.edu (where computingID is your UVA computingID).
